Well, if you save some of the answers you get, maybe the people won't mind a
direct message, since many of the subscribers are here to help, rather than
seeking answers. I don't have aproblem answering direct questions myself, if
it is regarding something I know about. I would think many others would help
out in a similar manner, considering the help we have received. All you
would have to do is just send mail to one of the subscribers rather than to
the list. Maybe a web page with some e-maill addresses could be sent as an
"away" response from the list server.
