This is turning out to be a tough one to find, but I wouldn't have 
thought so when I started looking.

I need to find out how many elective offices there are in California.

This includes offices like mayor, city council, special districts, 
school districts, judges, county supervisors, etc.  Anybody who's 
elected.

Even getting a total would be fine.  Any sort of breakout is gravy.
