I have an unusual question. I have a unwashed silk screened t-shirt on which the "ink" has begun to peel and flake. That's no problem for me, except I would love to know a way to help the peeling along more quickly. The portion that has begun to peel is not a desired design anyway, but the tshirt has a tie dye design that I wish to preserve as much as possible. With what chemical would I be able to remove the remaining "ink" yet keep the dye that IS desired?
