Listmembers - I'm afraid that we are losing sight of the purpose of this
list . . . lately we have had polemics concerning women's lib,
announcement and justification of an intended "manifesto", later reduced
to a "major RANT!" (can the Rave be far behind?), and ruminations
concerning miscellaneous thoughts wafting through our heads. . . .
hahahaha . . . just kidding.
All of these subjects (well most) are entirely legitimate subjects of
discussion, however, I don't think that this is the proper venue. There
are lists addressing each of these concerns which I would hope would be
utilized.
I have addressed this to the list rather than contact Alan off-list
since Alan is too polite to address the problem on-list. This is
probably the premier list on the Internet, if you are interested in the
location of information, and we should make every effort to keep our
queries in accordance with that objective.
I will now retreat to my lurk, and await the brickbats . . . :-)
