Well, Daniel, I can find lots of good sites about the fascinating
Vervet Monkeys and about the country of Uganda, but the name of John
Ssabunnya is just not clicking. I've checked web sources; CNN news
reports and encyclopedias. No results matching your story.
Can you verify the spelling of that name? Otherwise, this just may be
a "weird story" as you call it. :-)
Meanwhile, anyone for watching a Tarzan movie? <g>

Hmmm...I was just about the give up and send this reply to the list,
when I got the idea to check USENET. The trail got hot, then. Your
John Ssabunnya was reported by the BBC October 6th, 1999. He is 14,
Daniel, not 15.

Apparently the BBC was going to have a documentary of his life around
October 13th. Anyway, you can read the story. Send for the page.
Download his picture, too:

Oh wow. There is video, too!!! You must have RealPlayer to watch.
I must say, Daniel, it all seems legitimate and credible. Check it
out, yourself and see what you think.
And remember everyone...the lesson here is if you are looking for the
strange, the weird, the nutty...look in USENET. LOL.
