[SeeknFind] text file format to upload

Hi,

We need to upload some texts to a site (chapters from a publication we
make). It has to be possible to read online or offline and printed.

Which format is convenient?. I think Acrobat is used for that purpose, but
not many people have the reader and it is a big file to download.

Any alternative?.
