Three years ago I was given a Canon AE1 with no manual. I found
an 800 telephone number for Canon America or Canon USA; called
them and the very first person I talked to, who I assumed was a
receptionist, took my name and address and said they would mail
me a manual "FREE". She said they do it all the time; people are
always acquiring cameras with no manual. I think I had the
manual in about 2 weeks. I can't help you with the 800 number. I
no longer have the camera or the manual.
