Ironically, I found it easier to find you the full text of "The Time 
Machine" than a summary.  However, upon some searching, I think the 
following page provides an excellent overview of Wells' Time Machine:

Project Gutenberg has the full etext of H.G. Wells "The Time Machine" 
and you can download the entire classic.  The first URL given is for
