If this is for the group "Digital Noise Addict" then I am afraid there
is not much out there in the WWW. Even the Ultimate Band List site has
nothing on them.

There was this dude that signed up for a web site at Geocities in March
of this year to make a DNA page for this group, but the page has not
yet started:

Here is the e-mail address of the would-be site owner:

Maybe you can write to him and ask what he knows.

As far as searching advice, in searching for a band I always head for
The Ultimate Band List site:

http://www.ubl.com/

Unfortunately, that site is not exactly friendly to accmailers, but
still not insurmountable if you are practiced at using accmail. And
you should be able to handle it fine using Lynx. I say fine...it is a
bit klutzy to be sure...I was just now testing it with Lynx. You can
manage once you figure out the site.

Other than the UBL, I used WWW search engines and got keywords from
your post:

DNA
Vega
"Tom's Dinner"

I used AltaVista, Debriefing and Google besides the UBL to search for
an answer for you:

http://www.altavista.com/
http://www.debriefing.com/
http://www.google.com/

I found this site that mentions a couple of CD's that have that song:

http://www.vega.net/discogv.htm

This site has a brief historical note:

When, in 1990, UK hip-hop act DNA transformed Vega's a cappella song,
"Tom's Diner", into a dance track, A&M threatened to sue. But a
flattered and amused Vega lent her approval, and the song hit the top
of the UK chart. So it was not altogether surprising that dance
rhythms, synths and drum machines made an appearance on Vega's own
99.9F (1992), an album on which the songs set off in playful and
perverse directions, with distortion accompanying funky melodies. The
singles "Liverpool" and "Blood Makes Noise" exhibited, respectively, a
delicate pop sweetness and threatening abrasiveness. Her attempt to
continue the upswing, Nine Objects of Desire (A&M, 1997), her fifth
album, was a collection of sharp-focus observations on various kinds of
longing (love, sex and death for example), lyrically intriguing,
musically and vocally confident, and a pleasure from start to finish.

All roads seem to be leading back to the vega site. I think you should
explore that site as much as possible. I am afraid there just is not
much in the WWW about the DNA group you seek. Their claim to fame
seemed to be the Vega link and that may just have been fleeting to them.
