I'll have to echo Daniel. I don't see any "return receipt" function in
my Outlook Express-5, nor can I even find mention of that feature in
the online OE5 Help file. I would then assume there is not a return
receipt feature in your OE4, as well.
I can't help you with the messages you have already sent, but for the
future, you might visit and bookmark the following web based e-mail
service:
http://www.returnreceipt.com/
That is a special web-based e-mail service which features a service of
providing you with the service of obtaining return receipts for e-mail
messages you send.
In the meanwhile, wait an "appropriate" amount of time and just resend
your resume' to those companies not responding. You have nothing to
lose. Maybe they will think you are zealous and enthusiastic about the
job and hire you! :-)
