Quite frankly, Daniel, your best resource in this regard is to purchase
a book about MS Word. There are many such tutorial books on the
market. Any of the major online online bookstores would have a listing
of several books about MS Word.

As to sites on MS Word, I have a site bookmarked that contains several
links to helpful MS Word WWW articles, tips, journals, etc., and I
would suggest you first visit this site and you can go from there:

You might back up to the main page and do some exploring of this site
to gather more information:

You should be able to manage acceptably accessing the site through
e-mail, albeit it does a plethora of html tables.
