A letter of intent is a written statement of the intention to enter
into a formal agreement.
* Normally, they should not be more than one page in length.
* The Letter of Intent should begin with a Letterhead style heading.
* Then the first paragraph should summarize your intent.
* Below that one can then list or outline relative points or facts
related to the intended agreement desired.
* In the last part, one can make known any limits to the intent, such
as a time limit that this letter shall be in effect.
* The letter then ends with the signatures of those presenting the
Letter.

Note each example I've shown you has a slightly different look than
next. A business presentation would be more formal and exacting than
an individual making a letter of intention. However, the basic format
generally follows the outline I have above.
