Here's the info at
http://www.liszt.com/cgi-bin/start.cgi?type=e&info=u&[EMAIL PROTECTED]
u&list=child-l&word=child-l:

You can mail a request for an "info" file to the server address,
[EMAIL PROTECTED] Put this single line in the
      mail message:

          info child-l

You can get a general "help" file from that server by mailing this
single line

          help

to the same server address, [EMAIL PROTECTED] This should also give
you instructions on how to join (or
      leave) the group. See also:

List Name: child-l
List Address: child-l
Administrative Address: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
List Type: listproc

You can send subscribe, unsubscribe, help and info requests to the
administrative address ([EMAIL PROTECTED] -- we'll
describe how the mail should be formatted below.) But NEVER, EVER send mail
like that to the list address! The list
address is for actual discussion; any mail you send to child-l will go to
everybody who's subscribed to child-l. They
DON'T want to hear about your attempts to subscribe and unsubscribe!

This is THE most common mistake with mailing lists, and it causes untold
suffering. Learn the difference between the
administrative address and the list address!

Get more info before you attempt to subscribe.

If Liszt doesn't have an 'info' file for this group, you can get one
yourself by sending mail to the administrative address,
[EMAIL PROTECTED] (NOT the list address) containing the line

     info child-l

This is an example of an automated list command; it's handled by a
computer, not a human, on the other end. You'll be
mailed some information about the list--hopefully a few paragraphs written
by the list administrator.

How to Subscribe

If you've researched child-l and are sure it's a) public and b) for you (or
if your research didn't turn up anything and you
still want to try), then you can subscribe by sending mail to
[EMAIL PROTECTED] containing the line

     subscribe child-l YOUR FULL NAME

DON'T SEND THIS TO child-l! NEVER send subscribe, help, info, or
unsubscribe commands or requests to
child-l! You'll just make people mad.

Make sure you keep the mail they send you that tells you how to
unsubscribe. Keep it close to your heart, forever,
because if you lose it, you'll be extremely sad.

Other listproc commands

You can mail any of the following commands to [EMAIL PROTECTED] (NOT
child-l, this has been a recording):

     subscribe child-l YOUR FULL NAME
     unsubscribe child-l
     info child-l
     help

Other commands may be supported; you'll find out about them with the "help"
command.
