My immense gratitude to Hippyman for the quick response to my problem with
MSN constantly
cutting me off. One of the suggested stay alive programs should od
the job.
I have another problem. I have to admit that I am a computer dummy (dumb
me)- Ive been on for
two years and if it werent for my wife who taught me everything I
know-Id still be out in the cold
looking in. When something I dont understand or cant deal with
happens- I shout Betty and
she comes and straightens it out-- that is unless she's over at my
daughters house looking
after three small grandkids- and thats most of 5 days a week.
Heres my problem-- When I find something on internet I want to make a copy
of -a box on the screen
turns me down. It says no more room on the disc.
So I got rid of excess stuff I had stored in my e-mail closet- and
a bunch of accumulated stuff
under favorites and I said yes to the box that came up-to compact
what was left.
Now the box came up with advice that I have run out of space in
the drive. That I have
3.75MB worth of files in the recycle bin and asks me if I would
like to empty it.
The warning disappeared before I could say yes.
I thought that what I had deleted was aready in outer space-- Is
it still hanging around .-?
I would be greatful if someone would tell me what steps to take and
buttons to push to
get rid of the garbage so I can get the printing function to
work again
