Howdy everybody. :-) Not to confuse you, I have not invited you all for a round of drinks, but rather I wanted to just brief you all on a very valuable and informative WWW site and mailing list. I suppose we could put this site under the catagory of "Computers and Internet." Jack Daniels is his name and computers are his game. At Jack Daniel's site, you will find tutorials and guides on many different computer subjects. Jack is an excellent "HowTo" style of writer and gives his readers an easy-to-understand, yet very thorough coverage of the various subjects for which he writes. At Jack's WWW site you can find very detailed instructions and tutorials on such subjects as: *Backup Your Hard Drives, Partitions, and Valuable Data *Create Your Own Web Site *Hard Disk Utilities and Maintenance *E-Mail Programs (Learn how to configure various e-mail programs, such as Outlook Express, Eudora, and Pegasus.) *How to Unzip and Create .Zip Files (Using WinZip, Zip Magic, and other unzip utilities.) *Usenet Newsgroups (Includes tutorials for using Outlook Express and Free Agent with newsgroups.) ...and were you subscribed to his outstanding newsletter, "Jack Daniel's Mailing List", today's newsletter entitled "How to Create Audio CD's" would provide you with the perfect blueprint for success if you had your own audio CD project in mind. This was one of the best tutorials I've read on this topic. For those interested, you can subscribe at the site and then login to your Listbot account and read the newsletter in the list archives. You must be a subscriber to read the archives. Let me give you the URLs to the Jack Daniels Web Site: http://pages.prodigy.net/jdjd/ The Mailing List: http://pages.prodigy.net/jdjd/htm/list.htm Table of Contents page: http://pages.prodigy.net/jdjd/toc.htm Check it out, everyone. That elusive tutorial you need just might be at Jack Daniel's Web site or in his mailing list archives.
