I am not sure we can find the one perfect site for what you seek, but
here are a few resources that taken together, might help you narrow
down your search and make some intelligent travel decisions:

The Yahoo Travel site:

http://travel.yahoo.com/

This service that Yahoo provides can lend some help in finding the best
fares, best Hotels, best car rentals, etc. Click onto the "Specials"
icon in the top right hand corner for travel deals.

Another site I found that travelers would find useful is the "Ultimate
Trip Planner," which is a collection of search form gateways to help
travelers with travel resources:

Cheap Tickets is a commercial service that finds you the best prices
for airline travel. You will need to register at this site, but I
believe registration is free:

See Arthur Frommer's Budget Travel site, which is designed to help you
find the best travel bargains, as well as many other travel tips:

Microsoft's Expedia Travel can provide you some help in this area.
This site is very much like the Yahoo travel site, but with a few
differences. Be sure and click onto the link for "My Travel" in the
topside menu. On the "My Travel" page, you will find much that will
aid you in planning a trip, including finding best prices. And you can
design your profile page to match your own location, etc.:

The Excite Travel Channel has a fare finder, among many other helpful
resources for the traveler:

Gad, for German resources, I would suggest that you check with the
major German Portal sites. As you can see from the listings above I
found, most of the major US Portal sites, such as Yahoo, MSN, Snap,
Excite, etc, have a major Travel site to aid travelers in planning and
researching their trip. I would surmise that German portals have much
the same type of resource.
