With support from the SEG Foundation the Science North Science Centre in
Sudbury are in the process of building an interactive geophysical exhibit
that will involve practical demonstrations of the basic methods including
mag, DC resistivity, natural gamma and seismic. As part of the exhibit there
will be a treasure hunts for various hidden objects using simple
instruments such as dip needle magnetometers, metal detectors, and Geiger
counters.
Most of the items are inexpensive and readily available but Science North is
looking for donations of a couple of items:

1) Magnetic suseptibility meters - If you've upgrading and have any older
operating meters that are no longer in use these would be much appreciated.

2) They are also looking for one each out of service EM (helicopter and/or
fixed wing) and mag bird with some internal workings (to be viewed in a
cutout). These will be suspended over the display area.

Science North qualifies as a charity and it is possible that donations of
equipment could qualify for tax deductions.

If you have any possible donations let me know and I will pass it on.
