ANNOUNCEMENT
KEGS NEAR-SURFACE GEOPHYSICS SYMPOSIUM
The KEGS near-surface geophysics symposium will be held on Dec 11, 2000
at the MacDonald Block, 900 Bay Street, 2nd Floor, Toronto from 0800
to 1800 hrs.
Presentations cover a wide range of topics in near-surface
geophysics, and including a number by exceptional members
of the geophysical community.
A final agenda will be published and posted at www.kegsonline.org
Registration may be done on-site by either cash or cheque.
Highlights:

2. On site registration begins 0800
3. Session begins at 0830
4. Keynote Address at 0835 by Peter Annan
5. The morning session includes presentations on GPR and capacitative
coupled EM, magnetic and borehole methods
6. The afternoon session includes presentations on remote sensing, em and
seismic methods.
7. In addition to the 15 scheduled oral presentations, two poster papers
will be on display and 10 exhibitors will be present. Minister Tim Hudak
is scheduled to make an appearance during the morning coffee break.
8. Registration includes coffee and lunch. To preregister, please follow
the instructions on the attachment.
9. Follow up a great day with the KEGS Christmas Party (see note below)
