Dear Colleagues: This year, the University of British Colombia's Dept of Geophysics-GIF group (Prof Doug Oldenburg et al) along with their consortium sponsors were awarded the Canadian governments' National Science and Engineering Research Councils' (NSERC) Leo Derikx Award for excellence in collaborative R&D involving a university and industry.
