Dick:

You might want to circulate the link to www.geoexplo.com were you will find a number of short coarses on airborne survey, potential filed and radiometric.  Also if anybody would like to ad papers to this list they can send them to me and I will convert them to HTML and post them.  If anybody wishes to have a paper posted they should also send there CV. and any other reference material that will help the readers find the author.

A link to a useful geophysical dictionary with a focus on potential fields by Serguei A. Goussev and John W. Peirce of GEDCO.

Those who were on the SEG Gravmag Committee two years ago will remember that I brought up the subject of the Graqvity & Magneitcs Lexicon that Serguei Goussev of GEDCO has put together. For many reasons the idea never went forward further, in part because Sheriff's new Dictionary was in process, and in part because the job of reviewing/editing something like this is daunting.

Serguei and I have decided that the best way to make this more useful is to make the Lexicon available on the web via GEDCO's home page at www.gedco.com. Please feel free to use it freely as long as it is properly cited. We would particularly appreciate comments and editorial improvements. There is (or will be in a day or so) a feedback form so you can send bouquets, bricks and editorially constructive criticism directly to Serguei. His e-mail is [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Hopefully this will start to become a living document!

Also a comment re the CSEG HRAM volume that was published in 1999. This was a volume summarizing the HRAM conference here in Calgary in 1998 that Ted Glenn, Kevin Brown and I organized. I have had many requests for copies (I have sent out over 40 hard copies) and there have been none available for some time. I have permission from the CSEG to republish this on the web in pdf format. We are currently scanning all these articles and hope to have it available via our web site by mid-December.

John
