Dear Colleagues:

A few recent developments have been noted in the airborne gravity
gradiometer arena that may be of interest.

BHPB-Gcap:
BHPB has farmed out a block of time on their 3rd AGG system to an Australian
junior; Gcap. Details on this arrangement (believed to be the first of
several) can be found on Gcap's web site: http://www.gcap.com.au. BHPB also
announced mid-year that they are entertaining proposals to use their AGG
technology in o&g projects without needing to secure an equity position.

Gedex/RT:
One-pagers (see
http://www.kegsonline.org/Feb%20Meeting%20-%20Gedex%20Abstract.pdf) is about
all that this group has produced to date, although some background
information on the group is available on their web site (www.gedex.ca).
Gedex secured funding from OMET this year and based on the material
presented at the OGS/KEGS session earlier in the month, it would seem Gedex
has plans to do some flying in '03.

CSIRO:
The other major AGG development program is found 'down-under'; the attached
site provides their official update on this project.

Bell Geospace:
Besides BHPB, this is the other group actually flying AGG technology.
Updates on a series of trials in 2001, early 2002 were provided in technical
seminars earlier this year, with the promise that some of these results
would appear later on their web site (www.bellgeo.com).

Happy holidays!
