Dear Colleagues,
Happy New Year - I hope that you’ve all had a pleasant and restful holiday season, shared with family and friends. Now that we’re in the New Year I wanted to announce our the upcoming SEGMIN regional meeting at the RoundUp in Vancouver at end of January – one of two regional meetings ahead of the main SEG Conference that’s being held in San Antonio in late Sept, 2019. This year we’re doing something new and have decided to change up the time, day and the venue for our Roundup meeting. After many years of Wednesday morning meetings that were becoming more and more difficult for our local members to attend, at Ken Witherly’s suggestion, we’re going to try an afternoon meeting/social on Thursday afternoon, just after the conference close, instead. Hopefully we can attract a good crowd – we’ll see how it goes - Details are below. I’ve also included the minutes from the SEG 2018 meeting (attached), which Ken has included some pics from the Anaheim – our thanks to Ken. I’m also including a preliminary agenda for our Roundup meeting, which we hope will prompt suggestions from some among you for other things that you’d might also like to see included in the meeting discussion. We’ll have a final agenda for you in the weeks ahead. Hoping to see many of you at Roundup in Vancouver on January 31st!
