Subject: Webinar: Telling your Geoscience Story with Story Maps

Dear Witherly Kenneth E.,

This is your last chance to register for the upcoming GOLI webinar titled,
"Telling your Geoscience Story with Story Maps." The webinar will feature
Joseph Kerski, PhD, GISP, Education Manager, Esri. This webinar is hosted by
the American Geosciences Institute and the American Institute of Professional
Geologists.

Communicating results of geoscience investigations to a diverse set of
audiences will grow in importance in our 21st Century World. Story maps are web
mapping applications that provide geoscientists with the ability to combine 2D
and 3D maps, audio, video, photographs, and narrative that can be shared with
research colleagues, or the general public, and embedded in web pages and
online presentation tools. This webinar will quickly give you the knowledge,
skills, and confidence to make your own maps for telling your own story.

This free, 1-hour webinar will take place on March 14th, 2019 at 1:00 PM EDT.
Participants can purchase 0.1 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) through AIPG
for attending the event if desired.
