To maintain the high level of technical talks we have created a strong advisory panel of Michael Webb, Andy Mountford and Telma Aisengart which will be headed by Jeremy Barrett. The seminar will be divided into three segments: 1. Acquisition (Designing surveys for optimal answers to geological unknowns, Incorporating safety and environmental impact as a survey design characteristic, Overcoming acquisition challenges in airborne, ground, marine and downhole systems. Methodologies for deeper, higher resolution, and faster surveys under more adverse conditions), 2. Case Studies and 3. Processing and Modelling (Getting more from the data – processing techniques, Toward ever better models for geophysical datasets, Bridging the gap – geological interpretation of geophysical models). The seminar will be held on June 19th, 2020 at the Hotel Santiago, Av. Kennedy in Las Condes. We would like to issue a call for papers now where abstracts, of no more than 250 words, with a maximum file size of 5MB , in pdf format should be sent to <mailto:[email protected]> [email protected].
