Hi -

This is one for the hard-boiled EM geophysicists out there.

Has anyone tried doing a plate inversion of TDEM data using Leroi v8.0? (CSIRO
P223F code)

My inversion runs, but when I look at the observed and calculated data at each
iteration, Leroi doesn't appear to be calculating the response of the plate
(just the host half-space), and the inversion is unable to fit the data.

If I run exactly the same file in forward modelling mode, hey presto, I get the
plate response I was expecting.

I have tried using local coordinates for the loop, receiver and plate positions
(was previously using UTMs) but I still get the same thing.

Has anyone else encountered this problem?

Cheers,

James
