Dear Colleagues
The following webinar may be of interest to some. Stay safe/Ken Subject: Passive Seismic Webinar Hello All, I hope you are doing well. For the past couple of years I have been working with Sisprobe, a company that does passive seismic data processing, in particular, ambient noise surface wave tomography (ANSWT). I am sending this email because I think you might be interested in an upcoming short-course webinar that Sisprobe is offering. The 2-hour webinar will be on May 12, 2020 at 8am PDT. The official invite is on Sisprobe's LinkedIn page, but here is the description with registration link: Are you interested in an easy introduction to passive seismic exploration techniques? Sisprobe is happy to offer a short-course webinar that covers the basics of ambient noise interferometry, surface wave dispersion, surface wave tomography and 3D S-wave velocity imaging of the sub-surface. The course is 2 hours long, and aimed at the non-specialist - geophysicists who want to know a little more about the technique, including where it would add value and most importantly where it is not expected to add value. The course would be run at a convenient time in the next few weeks, so please register your interest and we'll be in touch: <https://lnkd.in/gEiGrc7> https://lnkd.in/gEiGrc7 Emails with links for attendees will be sent early next week, so it would be best to sign-up in the next couple of days. Thank you for your consideration.
