The editorial board of the Leading Edge journal looks for topical subjects to focus each edition and the 'dial' has come around to point at mining once again (last time I recall was 2008). The special issue will run Feb 2021 and submissions have to be in next October. There is a editorial board member coordinating this effort and I noticed in the last TLE issue, Jean Legault, the current SEGMIN chair, is working on this edition as well. The Leading Edge gives us an opportunity to present different material than would appear in Geophysics or Interpretation, so I encourage you to consider a submission and have 'fun with it'.
