Unlike my earlier email, the Annual Meeting will now be open to all current MG Committee members and also to anyone interested in participating or being a future member in the SEG Mining Committee – whether you are a registered SEG member or not. Please see the Zoom link in Ted Bakamjian’s (our SEG Staff liaison) email below. We will ask everyone who is interested in participating to notify one of us three MG executive members so that we can register you for the meeting. Those of you who are currently registered as MG members will have already received this announcement from Ted Bakamjian via basecamp (check your emails or list at the bottom). If you didn’t receive the message from Ted on basecamp, this will just mean that you are not/no longer officially registered as a member of SEG Mining Committee. However, simple attendance at our MG annual meeting ensures automatic membership in SEG MG Committee - but please register with us if you want to attend. We will circulate an official agenda as we approach the meeting date. The main two agenda items that we have so far are: 1) Nomination and election of 2021-22 MG Technical chair / Key Contact 2) Moving SEG Mining Summit to uneven year schedule – starting in SEG 2021 in Denver, CO If anyone has suggestions for other agenda items for our 2020 MG Annual Meeting, please forward them to the MG Committee exec or via SEGMIN lists. And of course, nominations for incoming 2021-22 Technical Chair and key contact will remain open up to the Annual Meeting.
