We are partnering with <https://global.us10.list-manage.com/track/click?u=f5da2fbe7aa7682838a7a6f0c&id=c68ea9d28f&e=d8a94eff8b> FrontierSI to facilitate a workshop that explores the challenges and opportunities for the resources sector to benefit from positioning and spatial data science. It's relevant for everyone from geoscientists to those involved in automation. In the lead up to the workshop we've hosted three webinars (accessible on the Amira website) that provide background for the workshops (and are standalone educational sessions in their own rights - I have included the links below). The workshop will see panellists from Roy Hill, NGIS, Astron, FrontierSI and METS Ignited present on their experience of positioning in their various roles related to the resources sector. The audience will then break out into groups to discuss various topics related to the workshop theme. Details for the workshop are: Thursday 3 December 2020; 12pm-3pm AEDT | 9am-12pm AWST A 45 minute panel session will be followed by three 20–minute breakout sessions, a 15-minute break and question collation, followed by a 45–60-minute Q&A.
