The Society of Economic Geologists has posted this ‘call for papers’ to be presented at their delayed 100th Anniversary meeting now to be help September 14-17 in Whistler BC. Note, due to continued uncertainty as to how fast and to what degree various jurisdictions will have recovered from the pandemic, the SEcG is planning for a conference with a ‘hybrid’ format. That means ‘stay tuned’ as to how various part of the program fall into place. Note the themes selected at the bottom of the message. The abstract ‘door’ is open to May 3rd. The event will showcase the new science and thinking that will benefit society in the future, framed by the understanding of the scientific accomplishments in economic geology and mineral discoveries over the last 100 years. We invite you to submit an abstract (500 words, 1 figure) on one of the themes below. Sessions will include both technical oral presentations and speed talks.
