SEISA, Due to the ongoing recovery form Hurricane Ike, A&M Galveston will not be able to host Kempner on its current date (Feb 14-15), an alternate venue needs to be designated. I am suggesting that another spring regatta trade venues with Galveston. I would prefer that Texas and Tulane/UNO/SYC not be the alternate since Q1 and Nelson Rolstch bracket Kempner, I think A&M Corpus (March 14-15) or USA (March 28-29) is probably the best alternative. I am reluctant to make the Kempner alternate in the north because of the climate and this change would make the new Galveston weekend either a Galveston open TR or the last big event before Dinghy Champs.
