SEISA,
Our 2008-2009 season has ended. In all it was a pretty good year for the district, with close competition and no one team being dominant in all categories. The attached spreadsheet contains the results for all SEISA Championships and the points total. The Championship points system: Each regatta's results are scored in reverse order, so for a 10 boat regatta; first place gets 10 points, second gets 9 and so on. For singles, where there is more than one sailor per school, only their best score counts (so you don't get more points for stacking the fleet). In the event of a tie, it is decided by who sailed more championships, then who beat who more, and finally who beat who in the most recent championship. Later today I will begin accepting nominations for the SEISA Sportsmanship and Student Leadership award. Please start thinking of your nominations. Also please keep track of our schools going onto the National Semi-final<http://www.collegesailing.org/neisa/semis09/>this weekend in Boston (Tulane, Texas, A&M Galveston, and OU). Thanks for a great year, Blake Billman SEISA Graduate Director _________________________________________________ seisa mailing list [email protected] http://www.collegesailing.org/mailman/?listname=seisa
