One other thing----there already exists a SEISA trophy for team racing. It was the Longhorn Cup (not an OU or TAMU regatta ;-) ) and should still be on display in the trophy case at the Austin YC. It was given to SEISA to promote a spring team race at UT to promote more team racing and serve as a spring "tune-up" for the SEISA district team racing championship.
As donor, I would like to see this dormant trophy used for the proposed new SEISA 2v2 team racing event.
