One other thing----there already exists a SEISA trophy for team racing. It was
the Longhorn Cup (not an OU or TAMU regatta ;-) ) and should still be on
display in the trophy case at the Austin YC. It was given to SEISA to promote a
spring team race at UT to promote more team racing and serve as a spring
"tune-up" for the SEISA district team racing championship.

As donor, I would like to see this dormant trophy used for the proposed new
SEISA 2v2 team racing event.

Tripp

Blake---thanks for your good wishes for the 6 Metre World Cup....unfortunately,
the owners brought in a new skipper.....who brought his own crew....so I'm not
on Ranger for the Worlds.

At the spring Ntls. Semis in Boston I did pass out to Tulane, Texas, OU (and
TAMUG) copies of the old SEISA IMPORTANT INFO. AT A GLANCE. This hard
copy had a lot of the trophy, championship, awards details. If you look through
your old team records you should find the last one (1994 or 95). Perhaps Blake
can scan it and display it on the SEISA website?

The SEISA burgee is very cool. Billy Mac does great stuff....and he's a hot
racer too, with his yellow sport boat Macx sprinting around the Tues. night
PHRF racecourse....and winning!

Best wishes & welcome back to SEISA college sailing!
