Galveston
Qualifier for Kathryn Hammond & Navy Fall
The Texas A&M Galveston sailing team is excited to host the Troy
Swetnam Memorial Regatta. With a reliable warm sea breeze and a large
fleet we expect great turnout. Multiple COED and Women's teams are
encouraged. Saturday will follow the traditional fleet racing
formation with A&B divisions in 420's. There will be a separate Laser
fleet for full and radial rigs.
Sunday will play host to a random 2v2 pairs team race. This is an open
event, open to all sailors. 1 Boat, with skipper and crew, makes up 1
team. $50 damage deposit per skipper/crew team is required (if you
plan to fill 2 boats with 4 people, each boat will require the $50
deposit). A description of random 2v2 pairs team racing can be found
below.
