I am happy to announce that SEISA is now partnering with the Southwest Vanguard 15 Circuit.
The V-15 is the primary dinghy for sailors after they leave college and the Southwest and Gulf Coast has an active regatta circuit and is looking to add new members to the class. In an attempt to expose college sailors to the V-15 the first circuit regatta of the year will be held in conjunction with the SEISA Q1 Regatta at Texas on January 30. This will give the V-15 sailors a chance to relive a bit of their college experience and expose SEISA to what they can look forward to after college (bigger, much faster, more comfortable boats). *About the V-15 Southwest Circuit* Last year the circuit had five stops and about fifth teen boats on average at each regatta. It had forty two different skippers participate and fifty five different crews. Last year regattas were in New Orleans, Dallas, The Texas Hill Country, Houston, and Lake Charles Louisiana. The vast majority of skippers are former college sailors as are many of the crews. * About the V-15* The V-15 is a high performance, planing hull, double handed dinghy and is one of the most popular double handed small boats in the US. It is the dinghy of choice for the US Match Racing championship as well as several other local and regional fleets. www.laserperformance.com/main/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=5&Itemid=96 www.v15.org Thanks, Blake Billman SEISA Gradate Director ________________________________________________ seisa mailing list [email protected] http://www.collegesailing.org/mailman/?listname=seisa Unsubscribe: Send a blank email to [email protected]
