Regatta Highlights: 2010 SEISA Team Race Championship
4/24/10

Racing started at 1000 saturday morning. With a forecasted wind shift races
were started in the channel. Winds were gusting from NW at 21mph but quickly
began to fade to a more moderate 5-12 mph. The wind began to shift to the
west where races were then moved into Offatts Bayou. The wind remained
steady at 13-17 mph. 24 races were completed with 4 rotations. 5 protests
were filed in one race between TAMUG & Tulane, one of which was not heard. 2
boats from each team were thrown out resulting in a TAMUG win.

The TAMUG sailing team would like to thank Hugh Haggerty & Merari Dominguez
for running great races all day. We greatly appreciate the support of
Galveston Boat Club for allowing us to use their facilities for rotations.

Congratulations to Texas A&M at Galveston for qualifying.
