Greetings all - We are pleased to announce the 1st Annual OCU/UCO Kilpatrick Regatta, to be held October 8,2011. This is the 2nd joint regatta conducted by the University of Central Oklahoma, Oklahoma City University, and their sponsors the Oklahoma City Boat Club (OCBC) and Lighthouse Charities, Inc (LCI). Last year several SEISA member teams traveled to Lake Hefner to help us celebrate the arrival of our new additions to the 420 fleet and to participate in our Turkey Trot Regatta. Since then, we have named our regatta for an alumnae of both schools and past Commodore of OCBC, Ann Kilpatrick, who has played a major role in the establishment of the collegiate sailing program at OCBC. Trophies will be awarded. 1st - 3rd place trophies for up to 9 participating teams and 1st - 5th place trophies for 12 teams. Extremely low water conditions at Lake Hefner prevent us from holding this event in Oklahoma City. Our friends at Oklahoma State University have graciously allowed us to hold our event at their facilities on Lake Carl Blackwell. We hope you will join us. Fair winds, Glede Glede W.
