This past weekend Oklahoma State hosted our first Spring Regatta Easter
Breeze at Lake Carl Blackwell. Winds began light out of the south at about
6-7 when racing began at 10. Race committee was able to run 2 lap
windward/leeward races for A fleet and B fleet got on the water about 11.
Shortly after heavy rain began and the wind died and after race 1 of B fleet
RC postponed the races until about 1:15 where winds began to fill in from
the northeast. B fleet re-commenced racing and a total of 10 races were
completed by 5PM. We all had a great time and thank you to OCBC for the
great RC and boat from their club! Congratulations to OU for their win and
special thanks to KU for their attendance and we hope to see more Texas
teams in the future! See you in Austin this weekend!
