Dear Jorge,
not sure what to say as it seems quite a specific problem with your
computers. It could be that your problem is due to increased dimensions
in the code, but that would only affect some programs.
Any chance that your computer is affected by a virus? I would recommend
to check that and perhaps also run the Microsoft malware check.

Lars

First of all thanks for the interest and answers... I was out of town,
so until now I could answer you.
Dear Lars:
Just a few days after the 8.3 appeared in past june I already tried it
at least in another computer, but then I installed the version 8.2.1
first, with the same symptoms, dirf an another programs were working and
then mulplt crashed, then I thought to upgrade to the new version and
then I uninstalled the 8.2.1 version and installed version 8.3 but I
couldn't checked the status and I assumed it'll be fine. Later I had
news that this PC with the first installation I made with 8.3 was having
the same problem.
Until I have this problem in my own PC I started to remember what
happened then. Actually in my own PC the problem is only with Seisan
8.2.1 and 8.3. At home I have the 8.1.3 and I brought from there the
mulplt.exe executable file and just copied to my PC at work and mulplt
(version 8.1.3) worked just fine!!
As a temporal fix I'm planning to install the 8.1.3 version. But in time
I want to upgrade to 8.3.
About the hardware, well I don't know what to think since I was working
just fine with version, 8.2.1, and as you remember before the first
crash some programs as dirf (version 8.3) worked fine, then after I ran
mulplt, (version 8.3) everything else even the program that were running
all of them crash, even the programs from a clean install from version
8.2.1 .
Maybe I'll need to compile by myself and see where is the problem, I'll
need advice to do it Lars, about what will I need and the step to follow.
Dear Chandan:
Thanks for the time it took to find this answer. But in that link says
that the problem is with Windows NT 4, not windows XP (by the way I have
SP 3 installed). And another thing is that I don't have a soundblaster
soundcard, so I'm afraid that is not the solution for me. Thanks anyway.
It seems that that error appears for different reasons. From problems
with RAM, using Service Pack 2, Registry problems, etc. and the error
has been reported for different executables, even messenger. Anyway, I
already checked all those reported solutions and no one seems to fit my
problem.
I'm confused since in the beggining some commands were working as usual,
but now they all crash...

Dear Jorge,
can you try on another computer? I just wonder if your installation of
Version 8.3 coincides with a hardware problem? How about other programs?
