I assume that you have got a sensor Geo Space GS1. Please note that the
table 2.3 on the book "Instrumentation in Earthquake Seismology" does not
list all the options: in fact this sensor may come with internal resistance
of 450ohm or 17.4 kohms as well as 4550ohm. And, accordingly, its generator
constant may be 3.0, 7.0 or 15.0 V/(in/s). So, you should test the actual
value that your sensor has, with a simple ohm-meter.

Subject: [seisan] Calibration files help
Hi, I have been fixing some of my calibration files in SEISAN. I have
a Geo Space GS1 digitizer and I have calculated my external
resistance, but I could not to get the resistance from the seismometer
specifications for a damping 0.7. I used the Generator Constant from
the "Instrumentation in Earthquake Seismology" book, and the others
parameters too. I want to know if there are some problems with this
digitizer or if I have to do some special for this.
