Dear Abash,

the main problem is that your program path is still not part of the PATH configuration, so the system does not find the program. If you use csh, you need to change the .cshrc file and source the COM/SEISAN.csh file, if you use bash you need to source COM/SEISAN.bash. You can check if the path is set correctly by typing 'which eev'. Remember that just changing the files does not activate the changes in settings. For that you best restart your terminal windows, but you could also start csh/bash from the command line.

It is probably STATION0.HYP with the testdata now, but you need not to worry about that.

Lars

Hi,
I have downloaded the test data seisan_test_data.tar.gz from the
website and then unpacked it. This automatically installed the data in TEST
directory under REA but it didn't copied STATIONt.HYP in DAT directory,
which it should be according to the training manual. I started working in
the WOR directory and typed eev 199606 but it says eev command not found. I
have checked the CAT directory and it has file for 199606.CAT. I am really
perplexed why eev is not working. I would appreciate the advice.

Thanks
Abhash
