Hi there,

I've been experimenting with INVRAD to invert my local synthetically derived
data and then decomposing the results into the % of DC / ISO / CLVD components.
After a number of trials with synthetics with known end member points ( 100%
ISO, 100% CLVD etc) I've yet to get any conclusive results. This was most
telling when inverting a 100% ISO synthetic which when decomposed into the
components came out as 100% DC.

Has anyone else had any luck using seisan programs to invert for the seismic
moment tensor such that you can decompose into individual components in a
separate program? The events modelled are very local (depth <2500 m).

Thanks

James
