to use the def file, the phase specification must exactly as given by
iasp. so writing only P and S will give you no phases since the iasp
software generates Pg, Pn and Pb so you must write exactly like that. also
times will only be calcualted for stations with a reading. alternatively
you can remove the IASP.DEF, then you get all.
