no wonder you cannot see it, i had to dig into software to find out. so
this has nothing to do with the data interval you select out, in normal
wavetool operation it has so that was what i remmebered. it is abs start
and stop time of the availability of a particualr channel in archive which
you optionally can specify on the ARC_CHAN line in SEISACN.DEF. if you
speicy nothing year 1000 and 2099 will be used. the start and duration of
extract is given in command to wavetool
wavetool -start 20110129013130 -arc -duration 330.0 -wav_out_file
SEISAN -format MSEED -cbase cbase.inp
so cbase.inp has different content wjen used with arc option than normal
operation.

sorry, it was wrongb. it is start and stop times, format 2f15.0 or in
your case 2f15.3
