Dear Antonio,

unfortunately that would be a new feature, all SEISAN amplitudes are based on nm. One way to get around it is to adjust the scaling on the response files, perhaps also not ideal, but an option.

Hello there:

I´m trying to use wavetool (option 3) to generate corrected accelerograms from MSEED files. It seems that the output is a time history in nm/sec/sec. This is fine and the output is corrected assuming one have the appropriate RESP file for the instrument.

However, I wonder if there is a way I can change directly the default output from nm/s/s to something standard (m/s2, cm/s2 or even g´s) for plotting these time histories in a different software (i.g. seismosignal, etc.). Is there an additional step that I could apply to this output files to bring them form nm to m? I know that I can take this output files, convert them to ASCII and then with EXCEL I can bring them to whatever units I want. However, If I have several components, and several stations, this might get time consuming and complicated.

Regards,

Antonio

Hello SEISAN community,

I am using SEISAN on a windows 10 machine remotely using X2Go. The remote computer is a Linux CentOS 7. When I run "po" within eev on the database, I give the error "Unable to get font". Other commands work well.

I know to solve this issue, the proper font needs to be installed on Linux, the source computer SEISAN is installed.

I would appreciate it if anyone could help me that where to find the font and how to install it on CentOS 7?

Thank you,

Elham Moslemi
