Not as obvious as you would think. Read the following: "the field will autocomplete on the names of all pages that are already pointed to by that property."
"autocomplete on category=" just limits my domain to a given category instead of all pages... but the target pages still need to ALREADY have the desired property pointing to them. That's where my problem lies.
