Hi,

Actually, the solution you suggest is already the case - the selection of a
number only happens when the user hits "Save" or "Preview", not when the
user first gets to the form. My guess is that the edit conflict occurred
because one user hit "Preview" and then inspected the page for a while, and
someone else saved another form during that time. That's still a problem,
although obviously a smaller one.
