Hi,

I notice that the use of square brackets [ ] cannot be included within the
text of a form field as it causes strange things to happen.

For example, in a field value illustrating a style of reference:

Willliam Alston observes that '[i]f "God talk" is simply a way of
articulating a set of attitudes towards human life in the natural world,
then the arguments of natural theology for or against theism can have no
bearing on its acceptability' (Alston 1995: 31; italics added).

The result is this:

[[Reference example::Willliam Alston observes that '[i]f "God talk" is
simply a way of articulating a set of attitudes towards human life in the
natural world, then the arguments of natural theology for or against theism
can have no bearing on its acceptability' (Alston 1995: 31; italics
added).|]] Willliam Alston observes that '[i]f "God talk" is simply a way of
articulating a set of attitudes towards human life in the natural world,

bearing on its acceptability' (Alston 1995: 31; italics added).

and similar problems show with using semantic tagging within the body of a
form field.

Is there a way round this? Is this a planned change (it used to be possible
to use [] in earlier versions). Anyway just wondered if I should explicitly
forbid [] in a field before users start using the site or if there is a fix.

                                                 Thanks

                                                                   Alex
