Welcome  to  the  world of OWL and knowledge representation. I guess such things
are  possible  by  using an inference engine and some additional OWL statements.
You can get all Semantic MediaWiki data in OWL.
But  -  I  don't  believe  such questions are mainstream, so we should carefully
balance expressivity vs. ease of use.

Hmm,  instead of inheriting one could create some refactoring tools for wikis. I
believe the MediaWiki guys have alot of scripts for such tasks already. The good
thing  about  scripts  and  explicit tags is, it is easier to understand and fix
than some hidden tag inheritance.
