I see there was some discussion about adding a != test for attributes. I was wondering what ever became of that. What I would really like to see is a "not in category" query. I would like to be able to use a category to flag certain items which should not appear in the query results. Unfortunately my MySQL is pretty rudimentary, so I'm not sure how to implement this.
